With four separate branches in Chongqing, this Paris-based retailer is the most widely spread international supermarket in the city. Like a Walmart Supercenter they sell both groceries and pretty much anything else you might need. The four stores are located in Shapingba, Jiefangbei, Jiangbei, and Yangjiaping. The Shapingba branch is the newest and largest of the four branches. Not all the branches carry the same items, but at the Shapingba branch at least you can buy hard to find imported goods like Gouda cheese, diet Pepsi, and top-shelf liquor.

Shapingba Carrefour: Located on the south side of Three Gorges Plaza, across from the train station.

Jiefangbei Carrefour: Located northeast of Liberation Tower, between Arhat Temple and Hong Ya Dong. From the tower just go straight down Minzhu Road.

Light Rail Tip: 临江门 (Linjiangmen) Exit D–Liberation Tower

Jiangbei Carrefour: Located south of the Chongbai Shopping Plaza along JianXin West Road (建新西路)
Bus Tip: 江北家乐福 or 观音桥 + 5 RMB taxi

Yangjiaping Carrefour: Located north of the light rail station (follow the rail) in Yangjiaping walking street.
Bus Tip: 杨家坪(国美) then walk south towards the walking street
