Located off Shanxi Road, underneath the Silver Star Market (银星商场), is a large wholesale market that sells miles upon miles of cloth. Here you can purchase all the material you need for the tailor to make you a new set of curtains, bedsheets, or pillow cushion covers, or a new wardrobe. Cloth typically costs between 10-20 RMB/meter, but certain kinds of material or blends cost considerably more.
Bus Tip: 交易市场(道门口) or 朝天门 To find the cloth market look for the entrance to the Yin Xing Shang Chang (银星商场)—there are two entrances on the East side of Shanxi road. The entrance that is further south is located across the street from the exit of Thrifty Street. Enter there and immediately to your right there will be a set of steps leading down. Just follow these down until you see the cloth market (2 or 3 floors down).
