    Anyone know any good property agents/consultants in Chongqing, especially around the Shapingba area?

    Yes, i would like to get in contact with some of the 'high end' property agents if you know what i mean.

    Im not in CQ yet, but trying to get a feel for the place when i arrive later this year.
    Do you know any trade/business associations or any other useful contacts in CQ?

    These people     caught my attention, they mention some of the major players in the Chongqing real estate market. Don't know if that will help you or not.

    I take it you know they have special laws about foreigners buying property in China, right?

    Chris, the person I know who's bought an apartment in Chongqing didn't have any advice to give so I've reposted your question in Facebook and the CQExpat forums, hopefully those will pull in some responses for you! Sorry I can't be more helpful!

    You can go to http://www.maxxelli.net (Maxxelli Real Estate) for help if you want to buy or rent a residential place in Chongqing. They have office and multilingual staff in Chongqing.
