One stop shop for all your computer and office equipment needs. This area is actually a cluster of several giant tech stores. Here you can buy a digital camera, a laptop, a new cell phone, an mp3 player, surround sound speakers, printers, fax machines, Xerox copiers, writable/re-writable CDs and DVDs, thumbdrives… you get the picture. There is a little bit of room for bargaining, but usually you can only save up to 10% off the markup and they will toss in some extra freebies. Sai Bo (Shu Ma Guang Chang) 赛博(数码广场)

This is one of the largest electronics chains in China. If you are looking for a computer or a digital camera, this place offers the largest selection carrying hundreds of brand names both local and imported. In Chongqing the largest branch is situated in Computer City, but they also have branches in the main shopping plazas of Shapingba, Jiefangbei, and Jiangbei.

Guo Mei (Dian Qi) 国美(电器)

Another nationwide electronics chain, at GoMe you can also purchase household appliances that you cannot find at Cyber Electronics. For example, refrigerators, microwaves, washing machines (no dryers though!), air conditioning units, television sets and dvd players. There are branch stores located in just about every major shopping district in Chongqing.

Su Ning (Dian Qi) 苏宁(电器)

This large electronics chain also has stores scattered across China. Like Gome you can find household appliances in addition to computer related gadgets. There are branch stores located throughout Chongqing.
