I even met a couple of cool people there, my first friends in Chongqing! I'll recommend it to my friends and family when they come visit. Look for the website and contact their foreign teachers department as that is the department where you'll get the quickest access to Chinese staff who can facilitate the kind of thing you're looking for. I can already speak a bit and know about 700 characters. So it would be really helpful if someone reading this could tell me the name of a school that teacher mandarin that could offer 5 hours of one-on-one classes a day and not too expensive. from 6th April until 19th April I would also love to do a homestay with a family who does not speak english.
